The Procurement Technical Assistance Program (PTAP) is a not-for-profit organization funded by the Defense Logistics Agency and, in the northern Virginia area, by George Mason University's School of Public Policy.
PTAP exists to increase contracting activity between small businesses, prime government contractors and the government. PTAP's mission is:
· To generate employment and improve the general economy of a locality by assisting business firms in obtaining and performing under DoD, other federal agencies, and state and local government contracts;
· To expand the industrial base of the DoD and other federal agencies; to provide a link between the federal government, major prime contractors, and small businesses; and
· To provide technical assistance to small businesses interested in federal, state and local government contracting.

Business Tool For Success-Costing and Pricing Basics

On Monday, July 10, 2006, Sam Davidson of Gaffey & Associates Government Contracting Services Group is presenting an all day seminar/workshop entitled “Business Tool for Success – Costing and Pricing Basics”.
This seminar is an introduction to the establishment of an indirect cost structure that meets the need to: (1) accurately determine the actual cost of your products and services, (2) establish competitive pricing and (3) provide management with accurate and timely information to facilitate their day-to-day decision making process.
